Mom always wanted me to be an engineer. As a child, I would got chemistry and erector sets. But I always wanted colored pencils and drawing paper.
Fast-forward 10 years, I changed my major from Chemistry to Art. My loving, supportive parents were terrified, but my world blossomed! The Macintosh had just come on the scene and it married the technical to the artistic – I knew I had found my passion.
After a corporate job in graphic design, a freelance career and motherhood followed. While creating greeting cards, I was commissioned to create illustrations for several clients. More and more followed. Before you knew it, I was doing less layout and more illustration – and I liked it!
My dream is to travel the country in an Airstream trailer with my family while creating happy, joyful illustration that brings a smile to your face.
